Creating a Customer Account
If you are a new customer you will need to set up an account in order to purchase an aerial photograph from Picture
Research Solutions' photography collection of Scotland. By creating an account you will also be able to shop faster,
track the status of your orders (for hardcopy prints and CD-ROM photo purchase), and review your past orders. To
create an account:
- Click on the "My Account" link in the top right hand corner of any Picture Research Solutions web site page.
- Click on the "Continue" button in the New Customer box.
- You will be taken to the "New Customer Account" information request page. Complete the necessary sections as requested.You must complete those sections with a red asterisk in order to proceed with setting up an account. Once you have entered the required information, click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
- Once you have set up an account, you will be sent a "New Account Confirmation Email" to the email address you have provided.
Accessing Your Customer Account
From the My Account area you may:
- Change your username and password.
- Subscribe or un-subscribe to our email newsletters.
- Download images you have purchased.
- Review past purchases and print order confirmations.
Access to the My Account area requires log-in. If you forget password, please contact us - we'd be glad to jog your memory!
Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password, send an email to customer services and you will be sent your password details to the email address you provided in your My Account information.
Privacy and Security
The only Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that Picture Research Solutions collects is information that you voluntarily supply when registering for a customer account. Other information that is automatically transmitted by your browser, such as the URL of the webpage you were just on (known as the Refer), the IP (or Internet Protocol) address of the computer you are using, or the browser version you are using to access our site is considered anonymous. All PII is stored by Picture Research Solutions in an encrypted format. Your credit card information is encrypted and stored in a secure environment.
Picture Research Solutions respects your privacy and we do not sell personal information collected through this site. We only collect this information to enhance the individual customer experience on this site, to aid in the process of purchase, provide support, or share information with you about our products, services, or news about our company. It is our policy to never send messages to customers who have asked us not to do so, through an unsubscribe process. In every email, we will remind you of your option to opt-out of future email communications. No information about you will be sold to outside parties or used in any unethical manner.
