When an image is bought from Picture Research Solutions, the buyer purchases the right to use
that image in a particular way. This is called a licence and we offer seven types, all granted as an addition to our Full
Licence Agreement. It is a condition of the purchase of any of Picture Research Solutions' aerial photographs that the
appropriate licence for intended usage is purchased and the terms and conditions of that Licence and the Full Licence
Agreement are complied with in full:
Personal Licence Supplied with Supplied Printed Photograph
The Personal Licence for Printed Photographs is for private individuals only. This Licence does not permit the licencee to
display the purchased printed photograph in any public or commercial space, use the photograph in any document, or modify
the format of the image into electronic format.
Commercial Display/Reference Licence with Supplied Printed Photograph
The Commercial Display/Reference Licence is for business users. This Licence does not permit the licence holder to
use the photograph in any document or modify the format of the image into electronic format.
Personal Licence + 600x450px / 212x159mm @72dpi Digital Image
This licence is for private individuals only. With this licence you are entitled to download your purchased digital
image from the Picture Research Solutions' web site and use it, for example, as a screen saver or print into hardcopy format. This Licence
does not permit the licencee to use the image for website or multimedia projects or distribute it in any way.
Web/PDF Reprod. Licence + 600x450px / 212x159mm @72dpi Digital Image
The Web/PDF Licence specifically allows you the use of a 600x450px/212x159mm@72dpi image for website and multimedia design
projects, and electronic presentations only. You have no licence for the image's electronic or physical distribution.
Newspaper Reprod. Licence + 2700x2000px / 312x234mm @220dpi Digital Image
The Newspaper Reproduction Licence grants the specific use of a single 2700x2000px / 312x234mm @220dpi image for complementary
editorial content purposes in newspapers and their associated supplements, programmes, flyers, and websites only. It does
not permit usage by magazines, trade journals, publications, or in brochures or business use literature. Nor does it provide
a licence for the image's electronic or physical distribution. Credit must be acknowledged exactly as specified in the IPTC
credit heading in any agreed reproduction.
Print-Run Reprod. Licence + 4000x3000px / 339x252mm @300dpi Digital Image
The Print-Run Reproduction Licence grants full usage of a single 4000x3000px / 339x252mm @300dpi image for the inside pages
only of printed materials including magazines, journals, trade publications, brochures, annual reports, sales, advertising,
marketing,and promotional campaign literature, books, and accompanying electronic presentation materials. Website usage, as
per the Web/PDF Reprod. Licence is also included. This licence does not permit the use of this image on the front or back covers/pages of any printed material.
You have no licence for the image's electronic or physical distribution. Credit must be acknowledged exactly as specified
in the IPTC credit heading in any agreed reproduction.
Print-Cover Reprod. License + 4000x3000px / 339x252mm @300dpi Digital Image
The Print-Cover Reproduction Licence grants full usage of a single 4000X3000px / 339x252mm @300dpi image for the front or
back covers of printed materials including magazines, journals, trade publications, brochures, annual reports, sales,
advertising, marketing and promotional campaign literature, books, and accompanying electronic presentation materials.
Website usage, as per the Web/PDF Reprod. Licence is also included. You have no licence for the image's electronic or
physical distribution. Credit must be acknowledged exactly as specified in the IPTC credit heading in any agreed
reproduction.
Full Licence Agreement
THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND PICTURE RESEARCH SOLUTIONS. BY PURCHASING ANY AERIAL PHOTOGRAPH, YOU AGREE TO BE
BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT PROCEED WITH PURCHASING ANY IMAGES.
GRANT OF LICENSE Picture Research Solutions grants you the non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and modify the
images subject to the restrictions contained herein. The images may not be copied in their entirety. You may not rent,
transfer or grant any rights to the images contained hereon, or any compilation, derivative or collective work containing
such images to any other person or organization without prior written consent of Picture Research Solutions. You may not
use this product on more that one computer or workstation at a time, nor on a network or a multi-user system.
This license agreement DOES NOT PERMIT the following uses of the images. You may not post any image or images on any
electronic bulletin board, put the images on-line in a downloadable format, or use the images in a website at a resolution
higher than 72dpi. You may not use, or allow anyone else to use any of these images to create pornographic, libelous,
obscene or defamatory images.
Using an image or images in a way not covered or specifically prohibited by this agreement, without prior written consent
from Picture Research Solutions, is a violation of copyright law. This license is in force until it is terminated. If you do
not comply with the terms and conditions above, this license automatically terminates. At termination, you must immediately
i) stop using this site and the aerial photographs, (ii) delete all aerial photographs and all copies from all magnetic
media and destroy all other copies, or at Picture Research Solutions' request return all such copies to Picture Research
Solutions.
COPYRIGHT. All images are owned by Picture Research Solutions or its licensors and are protected by the England and Wales
Copyright laws, international treaty provisions and other applicable laws. No title to or intellectual property rights to
any Picture Research Solutions' image is transferred to you. Picture Research Solutions retains all rights not expressly
granted by this license agreement.
PICTURE RESEARCH SOLUTIONS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY
PARTICULAR USE OR COMPATIBILITY WITH ANY COMPUTER OR OTHER KIND OF EQUIPMENT. NEITHER PICTURE RESEARCH SOLUTIONS NOR ANY
OF ITS TRUSTEES, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES OR ASSOCIATES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES.
GOVERNING LAW AND GENERAL PROVISIONS This Agreement will be governed by the laws in force in England and Wales. This
Agreement will not be governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, the
application of which is expressly excluded. If any part of this Agreement is found void and unenforceable, it will not
affect the validity of the balance of the Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms.
You agree that the Software will not be shipped, transferred or exported into any country or used in any manner prohibited
by any export laws, restrictions or regulations.
This Agreement shall automatically terminate upon failure by you to comply with its terms.
